    The best wine tasting I have ever been to Barbara certainly knows her wine had a wonderful afternoon sampling her wonderful drop eating local cheeses and listening to the many adventures she and Geoff have had on their very interesting journey.

    Caught up with Barb and Geoff at the Italian Festival this year. They were really accommodating and provided us with a tasting of their very nice wines along with some great cheese. They really went out of their way to look after us and we look forward to the opportunity to visit them at the vineyard.

    Our host Barb was lovely to us but there were a number of significant issues with this winery. Firstly unsolicited "health lecture" during wine tasting. Didactic session where pseudo-science opinions (openly researched on Google!) were pushed onto us. Then significant and concerning misinformation about their "wine club" - details not obvious and when questioned got significantly different answers from each of the owners. One of my travel companions explicitly said she would like to buy wine but not become a member. She paid on the day and is expecting delivery. However now they are contacting her for complete credit card details to finish processing her membership! These issues need to be fixed to be able to recommend, when there are so many other wonderful options around the area.

    Barb and Geoff treated us like family . By the far the best wine tasting we had in the hunter . Personal , friendly and wine was fantastic . We picked grapes direct from the vines and left memebers of a cracking winery . Thank you Ascella wines for your generous and outstanding service !
